etnies showcasing Spring 2020 collection at Outdoor Retailer
June 13th, 2019 – etnies, global action sports footwear and apparel company, is proud to be showcasing our new Spring and Summer 2020 collections at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Show, in Denver, CO, June 18 - 20, 2019.
The Outdoor Retailer Summer Market is North America’s largest tradeshow in the outdoor industry, drawing attendees from around the globe. This year, etnies will be highlighting styles from the Buy a Shoe Plant a Tree Program, the new eco-conscious Bloom Collection, the bike specific Crank series featuring Brandon Semenuk’s signature pro MTB shoe, as well as and expanded offering of etnies X Michelin styles.
Buy a Shoe Plant a Tree
At etnies, we’re proud to stand with Trees For The Future, working together on our Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree program since 2011. Currently, we’ve planted over 1.8 million trees together, with the etnies forest now embodying three continents. Our goal, planting two million trees buy 2020 is only possible with your help. The Buy a Shoe, Plant a Tree program is highlighted by our new Preserve collection, featuring classic etnies styles made using both recycled plastic and rubber, in an effort to create the most durable and comfortable footwear, while limiting our impact on the environment.
Bloom
etnies has partnered with BLOOM to aid in reducing our environmental impact by focusing on the foam used in our shoes soles. BLOOM, the world’s first plant-based performance-driven foam formulated with algae biomass, is a renewable biomass that cleans the environment and reduces the risk of algal blooms, while reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Infusing BLOOM into the etnies line is just one more way we can stand behind protecting our environment now, and for the future of our planet.
Crank
etnies will also be showcasing the new Crank Series, featuring mountain bike legend Brandon Semenuk’s pro model MTB shoe, the Jameson Mid Crank, as well as the updated Marana Crank, and Marana Mid Crank MTB shoes, featuring our incredibly durable Michelin outsole. Another highlight of the Crank series is the inclusion of etnies BMX pro signature pack, featuring styles and colorways for Nathan Williams, Chase Hawk, Devon Smillie, and Tommy Dugan. Whether it’s steep mountain descents or shredding the cement at your local park, etnies Crank series has you covered no matter where you plant your tires.
Marana x Michelin
The best just got better, with an expanded etnies X Michelin product offering being highlighted across our premiere skate and mountain styles. In an effort to continuously improve the world’s most durable footwear, etnies joined forces with Michelin to translate the performance and durability of Michelin, developing an outsole that is 3X MORE DURABLE. For comfort and performance, the Marana includes a padded tongue and collar with a Pro Foam 1 insole. Thanks to Michelin, this all sits atop a cupsole formulated with durable Michelin rubber.
