The GO² device has been scientifically proven to increase VO2 Max and endurance while also lowering heart rate at the equivalent of taking 10 minutes off of a 4-hour marathon. It works by putting a small amount of resistance on the exhale (known as PEEP - Positive End Expiratory Pressure) which enables the users body to absorb more oxygen with each breath, while inhaling with the device remains natural.
Independent third-party testing confirmed GO² Devices increased VO2 Max by 4% and increased Time to Exhaustion by 5.9%. For reference, Epogen – currently a banned substance in professional sports - gives users approximately 5% improvement on VO2 Max, while GO² gives you 4% naturally and legally. Our research was recently confirmed as one of the keynote presentations at the ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) conference in May, making it "Published Level 1 Peer Reviewed" research.
GO² devices will be available beginning July 2019, although pre-orders are being taken on the website now. There will be 2 versions produced, a version for endurance sports (running, hiking, cycling, CrossFit, etc) and a mouthguard version for contact sports (football, hockey, lacrosse, etc) that includes a lip guard. We’ve been field-testing the device over the last four months with various athletes. In just one example, four climbers ascended to Base Camp 2 of Mount Everest and realized 10% lower heart rate and 10% improvement in oxygen saturation within 45 seconds of using the device at 17,000 feet. In simple terms, the climbers felt significantly more comfortable using the device and were able to breathe easier.
