The Lightning Nuggets, Inc., product line of fire starters is made from renewable pine wood resource.  We use kiln dried mill ends that have been rejected because of their high pitch content.and food grade fully refined paraffin wax. 

LIGHTING NUGGETS® & LIGHTNIN' BUGS® FIRESTARTERS are non-toxic, and environmentally safe.  They are a conscientious utilization of one of nature's by-products as a renewable resource.

Lightning Nuggets® firestarters burn a minimum of 15 minutes, reaches 480 degrees with an 8 inch flame! 

Lightnin’ Bugs® firestarters burn for a minimum of 7 minutes, reaches 360 degrees with an 4 inch flame.  

Bugs are for pellet stoves or small fires with appropriately sized fuel. 

Our goal is to be as safe and clean while recycling waste into a viable repurposed product of convenience and quality.
