The device uses 4G LTE cellular connection, Bluetooth, GPS, an accelerometer (for motion-activated alerts), an audible alarm, and a companion app (iOS or Android) as part of a system to help cyclists track and locate their bikes. Galeo gives cyclists the peace of mind that their bikes are protected from loss or theft.
Very affordable cellular plans are activated through the Galeo app - seriously, 2 bucks a month or 20 bucks a year - with no trips to a cell phone store for SIM cards or activation.
