Hi my name is Kressa Peterson. I am a mom, grandmother and outdoor enthusiast. From the young age of 3 I was remote backpacking and traversing the wilderness with my father and brother. My love for everything outdoors started from a very early age. About 8 years ago, after a breast cancer diagnosis, I started racing Spartan Races and my love for being outside was reignited. Running in the mud, crawling through the streams, swimming in the lakes and climbing on hands and knees up a muddy hill brought me back to my childhood days where these things were simply "what we did", as a family, to get to our point of destination. I knew what "space food" was before "space food" was a thing!! Spartan racing did come with ONE thing I did not like-Trying to get totally clean and dry. It sparked memories of sleeping sandy and dirty in a tiny tent along with trying to change clothes, as a young girl, laying down in a sandy, dirty tent with my father and brother who also had the same issue. I recall trying to bathe in a stream with my bathing suit on and never really feeling clean.
My love for the outdoors as well as racing Spartan required me to find a solution to my problem but turns out it was also a solution for my previous childhood issue and that was "Getting 100% undressed, showered and redressed in a public setting". Well after looking for an option, and realizing that was no option (other than changing towels which did not, in any way, fix my issue of hygiene), I got a patent, launched a kick starter, and got a deal on Shark Tank with the One and Only Mark "freaking" Cuban!!! It took me 16 months to get on Shark Tank but I did it and life has never been the same-so blessed.
Needless to say I am totally stoked by the amazing feedback for my baby "Shower Toga". Not only has Shower Toga changed the way people change and clean up after all outdoor activities but because Shower Toga also acts as a "hands free emergency blanket replacement, it is my goal that the earth will see less and less landfills full of space blankets which do not break down in the environment.
