Energy solution provider FLEXSOLAR unveils their largest portable power station, empowering adventure through harnessing the power of light.

Debuting at the Summer Outdoor Retailer Show in Denver Colorado on June 9th-11th, FLEXSOLAR will highlight the versatility of its new 1021Wh Portable Power Station.

Austin, Texas (June 2022) A new generation of outdoor recreationalists rely more heavily on technology during long trips to ensure a safe journey to their favorite locations. A KOA report found that while “97% of campers bring some form of technology along with them on a camping trip”. FLEXSOLAR sought to meet the increased demand for “off-grid” power solutions through the creation of their 1000W Portable Power Station, taking into consideration the need for lasting power that can be recharged on the go. With more people than ever enjoying outdoor recreation, energy accessibility has become increasingly important due to regulations set in place for fire safety, including use of generators for electricity and propane for warmth.

The Portable Power Station from FLEXSOLAR offers 2000W peak power with two AC outlets, two USB quick charge output ports (each 18W max), one bidirectional USB PD Type-C input/output, one DC car auxiliary power outlet (120W max), and one DC output 120W max, so the power station can charge almost all electronic devices and appliances. The rugged black and orange device weighs just under 19lbs with a handle for easy transportation and can connect with an app via Bluetooth to control input/output of the power station.

FLEXSOLAR will debut the 1000W Portable Power Station in conjunction with its solar ecosystem at the Summer Outdoor Retailer Show at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado on June 9th-11th 2022.  Showcasing the 1000W Power Station to highlight the capabilities of safe energy alternatives to limit fire risk while reducing one’s carbon footprint.

Additionally, the FLEXSOLAR ecosystem of power solutions are an environmentally safe alternative to gasoline and propane generators which are being increasingly regulated due to noise concerns and pollution. Generators must conform to National Park Service regulations pertaining to audio disturbances, which state that “motorized equipment or machinery cannot exceed a noise level of 60 decibels measured on the A-weighted scale at 50 feet” (36 CFR 2.12).” The regulations also prohibit generator use and battery charging through engine idling in generator-free areas.[1] This could leave many RV travelers unable to secure a shore power connection at a campsite without a sufficient power supply, but the Flex Solar Portable Power Station is an ideal solution for this issue, providing long lasting energy to power any trip.
