Founded in 1975, Sun Own Industrial Co., Ltd. (Sun Own) located in Peitou Township, Changhua County, specializes in foam technology. In the past, it started from making beach slippers and water products. Sun Own researched and developed independently a patented technology to produce EVA/PE foam material which is featured with high functionality, lightweight, low-density, and easiness to process. Sun Own is able to fully develop all its products from start to finish, that is, turning the plastic pellets through foaming processing, to the final product. Compared with the foamed products only go through one hydraulic press process made by most of the other manufacturers, Sun Own’s twice core-foaming technology makes the foam to blown from the high-pressure procedure twice, which creates in its materials such advantages as lighter weight and better buoyancy by adjusting the hardness.
The hot-pressed and molded swimming board is made from special high-hardness and high-rigidity foaming materials and designed with a compound curve modeling that meets the fluid dynamics so as to increase its linear acceleration in the water. Moreover, its surface can be designed with straight or hexagonal leather textures to provide such features as wear-resistance, non-absorbance, and easiness to clean.
