ST. LOUIS – June 03, 2022 – Tear Mender® and RapidFix®, owned and operated by the Lighthouse for the Blind in St. Louis, Missouri, will be exhibiting three easy-to-use adhesive repair products – Tear Mender Fabric Adhesive, Vinyl Mender Clear Repair Patches and the RapidFix UV Activated Repair Patch – from June 9-11, 2022, at the Outdoor Summer Retailer Show located in the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.
From a torn backpack strap to a ripped awning, Tear Mender products include fabric, leather, and vinyl adhesives that quickly repair almost any porous or waterproof material. Originally formulated in 1932 to repair canvas drive belts, Tear Mender transformed into a quick, easy and permanent fabric and leather fixer for clothing, accessories and upholstery. The introduction of Vinyl Mender Repair Patches expanded the array of fixes to rubber, vinyl, canvas and other waterproof materials.
The RapidFix Fiber Patch is an easy-to-use ultraviolet light or sunlight activated, self-adhesive repair patch. The UV Patch is constructed out of fiberglass reinforced polyester that forms strong, permanent bonds for long-lasting repairs.
