  • W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company (Case Knives) introduces a variety of new collections at this year’s Outdoor Retailer Summer Market at the Zippo booth 24033-CH. Case will have its new Modern EDC knives alongside fixed blade collections co-designed by expert outdoor survivalists Laramy Miller and Roland Welker. Products will be available on caseknives.com and at brick-and-mortar Case authorized retailers across the country, starting this fall.

Expanding their Modern EDC category, Case has added the Westline™, a knife with a stonewash finish modified drop point blade made of tough S35VN stainless steel, hard anodized aluminum scales, an ambidextrous thumb stud and a dependably quick, assisted opening liner locking mechanism. Its removable steel clip can be attached to either side of the knife for everyday carrying. Available in red, black, blue and silver, the Westline is the company’s first assisted-opening modern EDC knife to be made in its Bradford, Pennsylvania facility using their newest high-tech manufacturing equipment.

“This year marks an important chapter for Case as we expand our Modern EDC category and hunting categories, turning to legendary outdoorsmen and custom knife makers to develop incredible collaborations,” said Brent Tyler, AVP of marketing at Case.

Case is also adding carbon fiber-handled versions of each of its modern EDC’s; the Westline™, Marilla® and Kinzua®, to this year’s line-up. All three feature one-handed opening S35VN blades with durable, yet lightweight carbon fiber scales on the mark side and black anodized aluminum on the pile side. Marbled handle styles include black, black/white and black/blue. The Carbon Fiber Marilla and Kinzua’s flipper designs offer quick and reliable deployment with a simple flip of your index finger that locks into the frame when fully engaged.

Case will also be debuting two new fixed blade pairings at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, the RW series, made in collaboration with Roland Welker (“The 100 Day King”) and the ‘Sasquatch’ series created alongside Laramy Miller. All knives in the series feature Natural Micarta® handles and 1095 carbon steel blades that are easy to resharpen while maintaining toughness.
